Using Phonimo

Phonimo helps you practice English pronunciation. Feedback guides learning; it is not a professional, medical, educational, or language-certification assessment. Legitimate accents are not wrong. Ages 16–17 may use Free; buying, upgrading or restoring any paid subscription requires confirmation that you are 18+.

Recording and limits

Recording is optional. Your free recording minutes reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. Each recording sent for feedback uses your minutes. Partial seconds count as full seconds. Shared weekly and monthly limits may also pause free recording. In emergencies, recording may pause on any plan, even with minutes left.

Recording interruptions do not pause billing or renewals. Manage or cancel in the store where you subscribed; contact [email protected] for help or to request review of a refund for an interruption. Your statutory rights remain intact. See the Subscription Terms for paid-plan conditions.

Use, privacy, and changes

Do not disrupt the service, bypass safety or recording limits, or submit illegal material. We may restrict abuse while respecting your legal rights.

The Privacy notice explains data use and retention. Account deletion removes linked active-database records, but does not stop billing. Cancel in the store where you subscribed. Material Terms changes receive a new version to accept before buying or restoring again.

Platforms and app license

Available features depend on the installed app version. Phonimo account sign-in is available only on Android. Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS manage subscription billing, cancellation and eligible refunds under their respective terms and applicable law. The App Store version uses Apple’s standard app license, unless Phonimo’s App Store page lists a different license. These service terms supplement the applicable app license and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
